The Ormond
Beach Tennis Center is located at 38 East
Granada Blvd. in the heart of the City of Ormond Beach. The Tennis
Center is on the east side of the Granada Bridge, next to the Casements,
John D. Rockefeller's former winter home.
The facility is owned by the City of Ormond Beach and operated by
Gary Heatwole, USPTA/PTR Teaching Professional. Gary has operated
the Center since the spring of 1980.
The court-yard at the Ormond
Beach Tennis Center has a beautiful landscape and the courts are well
maintained.
The Tennis Center offers fees from one hour to
one year and has some of the most reasonable fees in the area.
No matter whether you're looking to take your first lesson or a
seasoned player eager to brush up on your game, holding court with a certified
tennis Professional is sure to help you fire up your game or get it started.

Saturday Morning Fun Tennis
starts at 9:00 a.m. and goes
till about 11:00 a.m. Gary organizes the match play and everyone
gets to play either doubles, mixed doubles or singles with different
partners and opponents for about three rounds. Prizes and/or money
are awarded each Saturday. Fun Tennis will not be held on
Saturdays when another event (like a
tournament) is scheduled or there is bad weather. Out of
town visitors are more than welcome. Arrive about 9 and sign up with
Gary in the office.
Cost is $10 per person for non members.
Sunday Round
Robin: Mixed Doubles at 9:15 a.m.; No partner is needed. Cost is $10
per person for non members.
